BACKGROUND: What ho, a link!
PERSONALITY:
An intelligent man, Akande Ogundimu is far from 'just' a brute; instead he has worked his way up through Talon, the most dangerous criminal organization in the world, to a place of power at the council table where he is feared and respected as much as any other of the handful who dare take a seat. And it's more than that; he is a cunning businessman whom was raised to inherit and take over his family's business, and while it can be assumed that he has since separated from it in order to pursue a somewhat more criminal lifestyle, he nonetheless did very well while it was in his hands.
What's more is that Akande has the power behind that brilliance; the brawn behind the brains. He is dedicated to improving himself both physically and mentally, though his passion lies behind his fists. He loves the fight, he thirsts for it, and there is little more he craves than the enjoyment of a good battle. Even while he may be serious and stoic in the midst of it, there is no denying there is no place he would rather be than on the battlefield.
But this is just the surface. To balance this set of brains and brawns requires a sense of discipline, of determination, an unshakable drive- which Akande has in spades. His will is indomitable, and losses are only seen as reasons to get stronger - obstacles are there to be overcome, of course. He does not allow setbacks to hold him down, and he does not allow defeat to end his story. He is patient, too, willing to wait as long as it takes to find an opening - especially if acting rashly may ruin things forever.
Even so, he knows an opportunity when he sees one. Very good at reading people, Akande is quick to strike when he sees a guard is down, whether it be with a punch or a barb of words. And while he does enjoy a crushing defeat, to ensure his opponent cannot be like him to return and overcome, he also knows when a smaller application of force will be more effective. Sometimes rewards are better reaped after some investment, and he is quick to take advantage of those on and off the battlefield. How could he not? These are victories in themselves, as well, ways of ensuring that his next will be all the greater.
In short, Akande is a cunning fighter, one who cannot be easily tricked even by those who realize they are no physical match for him.
But in terms of weaknesses, he can be overconfident to a fault. While much of it is grounded in reality, he tends to not expect those he's already dismissed to return and try again - that is, not without the same outcome as before. He does understand that people can get stronger - obviously so - but he can be taken off-guard by just how quickly they do become stronger. Especially if it is with allies; while he doesn't dismiss their use, his methodology of 'kill the weak' tends to remove many possible friends. And even an anthill can swarm and overwhelm a larger creature, taking it down despite the creature's superior force and might.
He's also somewhat...lacking. In the empathy department. Oh, he can act like he understands people, but as good as he is with words it's more that he commands. He has a strong force of personality, but he is not a people person. He can lead, he does not want to follow, and he is not really...good...at insinuating himself with people for, say, idle chit chat. That he tended to leave with his spies (and oh, god, do not get him to try and stealth) and other people far more suited for working crowds by being in their midst. Akande can't even really fake being it, he's not necessarily bad at lying but he doesn't like it at all...nor is it his preferred method. He tells the truth whenever he can - if adjusting it at time - and while he can be civil and pleasant enough when he wants to be? Don't expect him to pull off a motivating speech along the likes of Jack Morrison. If anything, what he promises his people, and what they would follow for him in terms of promise?
Obey me and you will rise. Defy me and you will fall.
POWERS/ABILITIES:
Akande's body is enhanced with cybernetics after he was injured in the Omnic Crisis. This allows him enhanced durability and strength, and even without the addition of the Doomfist gauntlet, he can punch through solid...whatever his prison was made of. Concrete or steel or something. Didn't even bruise a knuckle.
It's also worth noting that his inner cybernetics also have a limited shield-generation capability; the best way totranslate them from vidya game explain how they work would be that they convert some of his expended energy in to a projection barrier that only itself activates upon collision (eg; gunshot, punch). They don't last forever, fading over time.
Finally, in terms of cybernetics, the only other thing worth mentioning is an add-on in his left knuckles that allows him to shoot what seems to be some sort of energy shot. The ammunition regenerates over time.
He's also well-versed in a number of combat styles, from all over the world. Having trained in fighting for...pretty much most of his life, he's included what works, dropped what doesn't, and sort of created his own MMA style from it all. He's also good at reading others who use any of the styles he recognizes, as well as improvising on the fly. (Game-mechanically, he's a beast in melee though he primarily relies on his abilities. He's best countered by range before he can get to you, or by flat-out disabling him.)
Other than that, he's experienced with leading othersto start a world war, versed in running a business, has no small amount of cybernetic knowledge due to growing up in a company that worked with prosthetics such and it's no doubt he knows how to repair his own...oh, and he can pretty much run it too, though he didn't really want to. Much rather fight. Or make fights!! FIGHTING GOOD is what we're trying to say, him like to fight.

INVENTORY:
- DOOMFIST GAUNTLET - the title of Doomfist is linked to bearing the eponymous gauntlet. First used by the man who would be known as the Savior, then next by the Scourge, its current incarnation as worn by the Successor is a large armpiece that hooks in directly with his prosthetic to power and utilize its full potential. However, it can also be broken down in to just the gauntlet, allowing others to make use of it if necessary.
